1. Please do not send the original artwork or photograph.
2. Artwork: All art media are considered. We prefer photographs submitted digitally (see below). However, we will accept submissions on 35 mm slides or 8"x10" or 5"x7" color glossy photographs (limit 6 slides or photos). (High-quality color photocopies are also acceptable; if chosen for publication, we will request you to either mail a print or submit a digital file (via an email attachment or mailed on a disc).
3. Photos: We prefer photographs saved in Photoshop (version 7) with imbedded profile, 300 dpi, printed no larger than 8” (20.32 cm) on the long side. However, we will also accept TIFF, PICT or BMP.
   
   Photographs may be in color or black & white.
   
   While Evolving Editions will make every effort to work with whatever format you send us, we prefer not to receive jpeg files (although they will suffice for the initial screening).
   
   Submissions of slides, photos, scans, and high quality photocopies are accepted for consideration. (In the latter case, upon acceptance, a 300 dpi scan or a duplicate of the original photo or slide will be requested).
4. We do prefer to receive a hard copy sent by mail of your photograph/artwork as this will greatly assist us in our selection process.
5. Email us if you have any questions about submitting your photos or artwork.

We also welcome photo essays; please also follow the guidelines for submitting written pieces.

1. Please do not send original photographs or artwork as they may be lost or damaged and cannot be returned.
2. Please label all slides and photos with your name, email address, titles, media, dimensions, and date. Also note which side is the top of the work. DO NOT WRITE ON PHOTOS! Attach all necessary information on a label affixed to the back of each submission.
3. We will accept digital files of images on a disc only if a hard copy printout is also mailed.
4. Please package all materials securely, and mail to:

1. Email each artwork/photograph as an attachment.

   Submissions from outside the US: Please email no more than one attachment at a time.

2. Please use the phrase "Submission: (title of your photo/artwork)" as the subject line of your email.
3. Include your cover letter information in the body of your email.
